Rock Hall Elementary School and Main Street Rock Hall (MSRH) worked together to create a one-of-a-kind piece of public art. This tribute to the Chesapeake Bay helped to brighten our community during a difficult time. Using yarn (knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, etc.) participants created one dimensional (flat) creatures or plants that represents some aspect of the Bay. Participants used bright colors and their imagination to create this project that covered a 6ft high and over 60 ft long area and was displayed during July and August of 2020.
